Acceptance Of Order
Our acceptance of your order takes place at the dispatch of the order, with the exception of special orders you may cancel your order up to this point. The purchase contract is made at the point of dispatch. The responsibility for the order is ours until you accept delivery of the order. We make every effort to dispatch your order as quickly as possible or to arrive on a date specified by you, but we cannot be held responsible for events outside our control. Please note due to the perishable nature of products sold on https://oxfordcoffee.co.uk we will not accept order cancellations after the point of dispatch.
The Oxford Coffee Company Limited uses PayPal for payment processing of orders submitted through our website. If you do not have a PayPal account you can also pay through PayPal using major debit or credit cards. All transactions are in sterling GBP.
We make every effort to ensure our website is as accurate as possible but we can accept no responsibility for any loss resulting from information contained on our website or in respect of any omissions or errors. We give no warranty to any of the information contained on our website. To the extent of the law, by using https://oxfordcoffee.co.uk you agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or incidental damages that arise as a result of using https://oxfordcoffee.co.uk.
- Wrongly Supplied Products
Please inform us within 48 hours from the date of the goods received, if any items incorrectly supplied. We will then arrange collection and either provide a refund to your PayPal account or send replacement correct items as soon as we receive the goods.
- Defective or Damaged Products
If the products received are thought to be defective or damaged in some way, the products may have to be returned to The Oxford Coffee Company Limited. If this is the case, this must be before the ‘Use By’ or ‘Best Before’ date of the products. If the goods are found to be faulty or defective, we will offer a replacement or a full refund and in either case we will refund your postage cost.
- Right To Cancel
Your right to cancel starts at the time of placing the order, as all of our products are food and therefore perishable, your right to cancel ceases at the point of dispatch.
Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment as used to place the order. The Oxford Coffee Company Ltd. will refund the order value if they are unable to fulfil the order or have not received the payment in full. We do reserve the right to refund your orders due to any unforeseen circumstances. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Right To Cancel
Your right to cancel starts at the time of placing the order, as all of our products are food and therefore perishable, your right to cancel ceases at the point of dispatch. We do reserve the right to cancel your orders due to any event outside our control or unavailability of stock. In such a situation, we will contact you promptly. If we have to cancel an order in these circumstances and you have made any payment in advance for products that have not been delivered to you, we will refund these amounts to you as soon as possible.
Oxford Coffee Company Limited offers free delivery using our vans to all addresses within the OX11, OX12 & OX14 postcodes. All other deliveries are made by Royal Mail and other postal and courier companies. Delivery times may vary dependent on locations e.g. remote areas, highlands and islands and any unforeseen circumstances, such as weather delay.
We will deliver our products to anywhere in the mainland UK. Postal and courier services collect completed orders from The Oxford Coffee Company Limited and delivers them directly to your door. Customers can give additional delivery instructions for their order online at the time of purchase. Deliveries are attempted at least once on the day of delivery. Postal and courier services may deliver the package to a neighbouring house whilst posting full instructions for collection on an instruction card at the delivery address. If it is not possible to deliver the package on the day of delivery postal and courier services will return the package to the local delivery depot and attempt to deliver on the next working day.
Orders placed will be dispatched on the next working day at the latest via Royal Mail 2nd Class and will take approximately 2-3 days from dispatch to arrive with you.
Free delivery using our vans to OX11, OX12 & OX14 postcodes will take place on the following days:
OX14 – Monday
OX11 – Wednesday
OX12 – Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (and also Monday and Wednesday depending on capacity)
Alternatively, you can choose paid delivery via Royal Mail at checkout.
Retention of Title
This remains with The Oxford Coffee Company Limited until the goods are paid for in full.
These are automatically added to the cost of the product as part of the process of submitting an order. Delivery costs are based on the total weight of the order:
Up to 2kg – £4.00
2kg-5kg – £7.00
5kg-20kg – £9.00
Delivery is free on all UK Mainland orders over £50
Delivery is free to the following postcodes: OX11, OX12 & OX14
Liability insurance is included.
Application of Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT is included in the cost of each product, where applicable (VAT number GB 462183160).

Money Back Guarantee
Each of the products sold through https://oxfordcoffee.co.uk is backed by our 14-day money-back guarantee. This guarantee period includes any statutory cancellation period to which you may be entitled.
Upon submitting an order using our automated shopping basket system, the customer will receive an email containing order confirmation and details of the order.
This website forces HTTPS for all services using TLS (SSL). We use PayPal as a payment services provider and their own Terms and Conditions are applicable to payments made through that service.

Ongoing Coffee Subscriptions
The Oxford Coffee Company Limited operates a Coffee Subscription service which is an auto-renewing subscription service. After your first order, you’ll be placed on an ongoing subscription, receiving a bag of your chosen coffee every month. Delivery is free of charge to anywhere in the UK. We have three payment options for ongoing subscriptions: Charged every 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Prices are subject to change, however you will not be charged any additional amount if prices increase during your payment period. You will however be notified of any price increases ahead of your renewal date. If you cancel your subscription you will not be entitled to a refund of any of the remaining subscription period.
If you wish to cancel your subscription then we must receive your request in writing to email@example.com or by post to The Oxford Coffee Company, Unit 1, The Old Power Station Offices, Ardington, Wantage OX12 8QJ at least 5 days before your renewal date. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt, therefore cancellation by email is preferred.
Coffee Gift Subscriptions
The Oxford Coffee Company Limited offers a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month gift subscription service for a one-off payment. The recipient will receive their chosen bag of coffee beans or freshly ground coffee every month for the duration of the gift subscription period. Delivery is free of charge to anywhere in the UK.
After purchasing the gift subscription you will be forwarded to a page to download your voucher. You must take a note of your order number as this will be needed to activate the voucher (the order number will also appear on your email receipt along with a link to download the voucher). Print and send (or email) the voucher and order number to the recipient of the gift. When they receive their voucher they can activate their subscription by calling 01235 820656 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with their order number and delivery address and their choice of coffee, indicating if they would like whole bean or ground coffee (and their choice of grind – Aeropress, Espresso, Cafetiere, Filter or Moka). Please note that Rich Roast Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance coffees are only available in the 500g gift subscription and only available as whole bean. Their first coffee delivery will arrive within 7 days of activation. Gift Subscriptions must be activated within 12 months of the purchase date.
If you cancel your subscription you will not be entitled to a refund of any of the remaining subscription period.

Any complaint will be dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially ice. These complaints will be dealt within seven working days.
